... and you guys thought Google maps was cool

Google maps has created a lot of hype over the past month, however, last night Microsoft revealed Photosynth! Photosynth basically allows you to turn standard photos into a 3D panorama style virtual experience. With Photosynth, you can basically upload your creations online or you can see public synths created by other users. The only real drawback to Photosynth is that you cannot created groups for your photos (... yet). Check it out if you haven't already!
